Has any one experienced the Intra Gastric Ballon through endoscopy? for weight loss?
I am few days away from having it and i badly need to know how and what it feels like... does every thing go as good as the doctors say? or there are any kind of common problems associated with it?

I had a saline gastric balloon fitted on monday and have been so ill, constantly in pain nd being sick, they took me back in yesterday and put me on a drip and said that i had a temp and uti. They sent me home with lots of meds which have not helped, the cramps and pains are worse and I am now bleeding quite heavily and losing clots - I have rang the place I had in done in, in Newport, s.wales gb, they said there is no one there until Mon, has anyone experienced anything similar or have any advice for me please? Hi Stacey. i have had the gastric balloon with saline done last year April 2011 and i had similar effects such as cramps and pains also being sick 3 - 4 times a day, it is so awful i took mine out on October 2011 to be honest i didn't even reach my goal weight i was so much in pain for 6 months but now that its out i am so happy, i will advice you carry on as you have paid money for it, but if it is effecting your health so much go to A&E i haven't heard about bleeding from anyone before that's awkward, my advice is to see a doctor ASAP. Jump6 says it should only cost $1200...
Jump6 charged me $8000. I am having me balloon removed after 2 months but its taking another month for the appt.. Haven't been able to return to work due to constant vomiting. Staff have not been very helpful.

Bluewater clinic--Fly into Detroit and drive approximately one hour into Canada..approx 8500.00 which includes the costof taking it out . In six weeks lost 15 lbs. Terrible chronic GERD and very uncomfortable 4 Day period. If I can lose 15 more pounds and keep the weight off it will be more than worth it.
