For years I had a mole in a private/sensitive area, of course no knife or laser was about to go there. So I was stuck in a hard decision, do I live with this mole that I hate, or do I try and find another solution? I wanted the mole gone, I had lived with it long enough so I looked for other options.
After weeks of researching different methods and products, and only finding products with acid in them. I came across Dermatend, which doesn't have any acidic properties in it's ingredients. I mean if a knife nor laser was going to my sensitive area, was I really going to let an acid based product go there? NO WAY
I ordered Dermatend and received my package shortly after ordering. After Dermatend arrived I started to read the instructions, which were very clear on the whole process and made removing my mole easy. Literally 5 days after applying Dermatend my mole was gone, just like that.

Hi!
I used DermaTend™ again since my last post.
I got a message that somebody had posted a reply to this thread and when i came to read it I just had to post mine too.
I removed a skin tag which was on my groin just recently with Dermatend.
It had worked for the moles I had but for some reason I did not try it on the skin tag. I guess I just didn't want to have to even think about something being on that area of my body.
Anyway, the skin tag scabbed after 2 days! It them fell off 3 days later. I cannot believe i waited for a year with this ugly thing on me.
I can now shave the area without a worry!
Hope this helped!

I had at least 7 moles on my face, 3 on my back and 1 on my arm. I went to a plastic surgeon and was told that they would have to cut the moles off which would leave a scar larger than the moles themselves. The cost would be almost $2,000. I went online to research products that may take moles off and ran across Dermatend. I had nothing to lose so I ordered it and tried it on all moles (11) and I can honestly tell you that all moles came off. Yes, it was gross at first because they start of being black until the moles come off. It did leave red spots for a few weeks but I am not kidding, my face looks great now without all the moles. I only wish I could have taken photo's!
Y are all the replies from posters with 1 or 2 posts, Cos they are scammers trying to sell a c**p product
OK I'm a 21 year old guy going to NYU and I had this 1 mole behind my neck and I was always very self conscious about it. I was very skeptical about getting this product but I decided what the hell. So I did and after 4-5 days, my mole is completely gone. There's little redness but that will go away. I'm so happy it came off so easily. Just scratch, add the cream and bandage it up. GET IT!!! really it works!
I was unfortunate enough to come across the dermatend product that claims to remove moles. Unfortunately I am prone to moles and have always felt slightly embarrassed about them. Having previously had some removed from my back which left scars I thought i would just have to live with them. I saw dermatend online and after searching through reviews and details about the product I thought I would give it a try. I tried the product on a rather large mole i had on my leg and also two that i had on my stomach. I can confim that 2 months down the line these moles still remain but unfortunately now stand out even more than before as they have become a purple colour. They also had a redness around the moles which have only now just began to fade and appear to be going. I have since seen my doctor who has confirmed what i now realize that the product does not work and is a scam! If this product was so wonderful i am sure we would have all heard far more about it! Needless to say the whole experience has caused me alot of stress and to anyone thinking of using this product, please reconsider. Dermatend is a scam!! from a very unhappy user!
COME ON, THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A SCAM! The before and after pictures on the website are a joke! And the feedback about the product from the so-called "customers" makes it obvious its a complete SCAM! "I wish i would have taken a before and after pic, come on give me break! The only way to remove a mole is through some kind of medical procedure, not a fone cream
It's very common for moles to grow back. I have a mole on my face which after getting it surgically removed TWICE, it grew back both times. I'm currently using dermatend and the results are no worse than the results from my surgery. Yes, the mole grew back again but it grew back much lighter and smaller.
As long as you get the entire mole at the roots, it will not grow back.
If you prepare the mole well enough before applying dermatend it wont come back.
I did 3 moles over a year ago and the skin is still perfect where they were. Same with a skin tag.
dermatend worrks if you do it following the instructions.

That is not neccessarily true about it not growing back. I am on my FIFTH try of removing this mole I have. Not very big at all, smaller then a pencil eraser. My first doctor removed it twice by shaving, and it came back both times. I then tried dermatend, and unfortunately the mole came back again. But since I thought it was pretty successful, after it was healed a good amount I used dermated AGAIN. We didn't even bother to see if the mole would come back because the skin was already so agitated from regrowing so many times it would probably be pink for a while. So we went to a new doctor and got an incision. That's where they cut around the mole and sew it back up with stitches. There is less off a chance of the mole coming back, but IT CAN STILL HAPPEN. I am in the healing proccess but I am really hoping that this will be my last surgery, especially since it is on my face.
Overall, if this mole had not been so STUBBORN, dermatend definitely would've been a great fix for it. I did take a chance on using it on my face, but I didn't have any negative side effects which I'm lucky for. So you can come at me saying "DermaTend is rediculous, it doesn't work" blah blah blah, but I know from experience that it DOES.
And I've gotten a biopsy on the mole every time, it is NOT cancerous, I've had it all my life aswell.

I agree that dermatend does work. I used it on 3 moles and they all came off within a week. I do have scarring in those areas which look like small chicken pox scars. That has been almost a year ago. You must read the instructions well and remember that everything don't always work for everybody. I liked the fact that it removed the moles I just don't like the scars. But those scars are better and smaller than the moles. I have a co-worker that have hers removed by her dermatologist. She had bandaids all over her face for two days too. She also stated that they'll grow back within two to three years then she'll do it again. She said it cost her a couple thousand to have them removed. Sure made me glad I had dermatend!
This stuff does work... I was really nervous to try it but I wanted to remove a few raised moles and TONS of flat small ones... the first day I took a shower, the applied dermatend to the 3 biggest moles, the ones I wanted gone asap! The next day I took the bandage off and was amazed that there were flat black scabs there, it isn't a huge scab like you would have if you got cut or something.. it's literally almost black in color, and flat to the skin, with a red ring around it. It can be very tender to the touch.. and inflamed.. I thougt they were infected because there was some nasty yellowish liquid bubbling up under the skin around it for a few days (just to confirm.. I did not put the vaseline around the mole like the directions say to.. I just scratched away, and globbed it on there, I didn't want to miss any spots) but I soon figured that was normal and would go away soon. Since then, about once a week I had a "mole removing" session... where every day after my shower, I would apply dermatend to about 6-12 moles.. and a few weeks in, I have removed approx. 40 of them. Out of that 40 I would say about 4 needed to be redone, due to not getting the entire thing the first try, some moles are stubborn. A few of them have faint light pink/purple like scarring like after chicken pox.. but it's only been a few weeks and it gets lighter every day. I would certainly rather have that than all the moles... anyway there are a lot of conflicting opinions on here and other boards... but I have to honestly say that I recommend this product, it does remove them, and I don't think the marks are any worse than what you would have if a derm. cut the thing off for you. I am really looking forward to be able to wear tank tops to the grocery store this summer and not have to worry that the person in line behind me at the checkout isn't playing connect the dots on my back... follow directions, and this product, be patient... don't pick the scabs.. and you'll love the results. Also... I purchase the two tubes for $99 I think it was... a special offer through the dermatend website... and removing like 40 moles, I still haven't finished the first tube.. the second remains unopened.. a little goes a long way.
Hi, I'm not sure how old this thread is but I'll post anyways. Dermatend works only if you do it right, I was a tad nervous because I was applying it to one on my face that I had my entire life. It wasn't that big but I felt like when people talked to me they were looking at it and not my eyes. Its still applied but I'll give you the updates. What I did is I took a hot shower to open my pores nicely, you can also use a hot rag or their is also products that will open your pores. But the best way is a hot shower to open them because of the steam. Then you dry your face really good and scratch. It's actually doesn't hurt, you will feel a slight sting but its nothing major. Scratching is the most important because in order for the dermatend to work it needs to get inside your mole. Scratch it enough but not enough to make it bleed. Then apply the dermatend, you would feel a sting for about 10-15 minutes. If you don't then you didn't scratch hard enough. Don't put a band aid on it because its like a sponge, it will soak up most of the product. Once it scabs then you can put a band aid on it to keep it clean. It's better to do at night before you go to sleep so it would be already scabbed when you wake up. I was annoyed because when I put the bandaid on it took most of it off and I didn't think I should reapply it and only part of the mole scabbed so I had to redo the rest of it. In a week the scab will fall off, if your worried about it scarring pick up some no scarring cream from your local store which is like 6-10 dollars or the dermatend balm that comes with most orders. Also to note, please don't peal off the scab before it is ready to come off or you will have a good chance of it scarring. Avoid touching it and it will be tender and a little annoying at first. Redness is common but it goes away. For people with negative comments, they obviously don't know what they are talking about or they didn't do it right. Dermatend works, but like I said only if you do it right. Keep my tips in mind and you will fine. If you never tried the product don't fill up peoples head about how its a scam and it will scar your face. It really doesn't so give it a shot and if you have any questions you can message me or email me at
i forgot to mention... one of the moles I had before using dermatend had thicker-than-normal hair growing out of it. They still grow where the mole used to be. I don't know if this would have been different with surgery or not...

Funny that when one of the other guests mentioned that all the advocates for Dermatend had only posted once (plus, the one post they all made was to this thread... on the exact same day they joined, most of them three years ago now...) that the remaining pro-Dermatenders were all also guests. I should imagine considering the membership to this site that at least one established member would have one thing or another to say about it be that thing good or bad.
My conclusion... I'm not accusing anybody, but there are scams out there and they go to great lengths to make them work including typing in a quick, "Does (insert brand here) work," into Google and replying to whatever forums might pop up in that search. Easy day's work for $99.
Be sensisble. This doesn't sound like the kind of product that could be compared to a tooth whitener that was just pretty toothpaste in a pretty jar, it sounds dangerous.
