IDK about scarring, since i have only done this on my back and i really can't see it, but i'd totally take a small scar over a big mole.
The mole will not be affected, some dead mole cells will be left or skin around the mole will be red if you:
- don't scratch hard enough (usually I scratch as much as I can stand)
- don't scratch all the surface of the mole
- don't cover the mole properly with the treatment (for best results, I put bandage only when it little bit dries and take it off 2 days later)
- by mistake scratched the surrounding skin, put some treatment on it and didn't use Vaseline (now I don't use Vaseline, but I am very careful when putting the treatment)
If 2 days later your mole is still there, usually it means that either you haven't scratched enough or that it is a very stubborn one. If that is the case, scratch and apply the treatment again. If some of it is gone and some is still left, do that only with the left piece. If the mole is gone, but in its place some bump is left, do the same with that bump.
Skin will be little bit red after mole is gone. In some places, skin grows back faster, in some slower. Under clothes I find it more difficult to heal them, because becomes difficult to apply healing balm. I use plasters just in the beginning, because they leave my skin very red and painful.
Moles are very closely related to your immune system, so make sure to take care of yourself. DermaTend sells some kind of mushroom for immune system (Immune Booster), but I really hate its taste and smell. I prefer strengthening my immune system with multivitamins, good diet, etc. After longer time, if your skin is still little bit red and you are ashamed to go out like that, use a concealing pen, as I do.
Be patient and use your logical sense.
It actually does work, but in a way that destroys anything it soaks in to, even regular skin. Atleast that's what I think.
As for being a guest, well, it's easier this way because I doubt I'm ever going to be coming back to this forum.
just thought i'd let you know, dermatend does NOT work. This is very unfortunate I was very disappointed. Initially the compound worked. I did everything properly took good care of the scabs etc. And about 3 weeks later the mole fell of in the form of a scab. However, about 6 months later, the moles regrew! Yes moles plural. The three moles I used dermatend on all grew back. One is slightly faint, but it seems to get darker every week. As a result i'm going to see a dermatologist to get them checked out to see if they are potentially dangerous in any way. I would recommend just going through with the sugery to get a mole removed. Although there may be a small scar. Certain products can be applied to fade the scar out such as BioOil (look it up). The scar will fade with time and become barely noticible. But stay away from dermatend... pointless and dangerous.
moles dont regrow, warts may, so what you had were probaly not moles. something else. maybe melonoma
