There is no sin in being gay or lesbian.
The sin is that some religions promote prejudice and discrimination against a group of people that do absolutely nothing wrong. They simply are attracted to people of the same gender and for this they are far too often looked down upon.
I truly believe that people that are gay are born that way and they don’t just one day decide to become gay. I think maybe the best way to help you sort this out is to ask is there anything wrong with falling in love with someone the answer is no. So why would it be a sin just because they love someone of the same gender.
So in my opinion there is no sin in being gay the sin is that some people can’t accept that people can be attracted to the same gender.
People should be able to be open and proud of their sexuality and not discriminated upon just because they are gay. If the so called book says it is wrong to be gay the book is what needs to be changed not someone’s sexuality.
So we should accept and support people that are gay not judge them for who they are.
