Hello, my friends. I have a fifteen years old daughter. You know how teenagers are. She is obsessed with becoming a vegetarian. I really don’t know what to do. I mean, is it good for kids of her age to become vegetarians? What can you tell me about this? I would appreciate all your replies. Bye!
Hi, there. My personal opinion is that your kid is too young for being a vegetarian. She is still growing and she needs all nutrients. Animal proteins are very important for building up cells and tissues. There are proteins that could only be found in meat. You should consult a nutritionist before making a final decision. Are you sure this isn’t just a caprice of hers? I hope you will manage this. Good luck with all! Bye!
Of course she's old enough and she learns how to be responsible about it and not just consume junk food all the time!
If you think about it, many parents raise their children vegetarian from birth, so if a 4 year old can do it, I think a 15 year old will be fine. :-)
