The way I see it, this is both age-related but not age-specific. Simply put, the behavior of getting off to another person/people engaged in sexual activity is voyeurism. It is a fetish, and quite a common one at that. But people aren't born voyeurs; it is something that has to be seeded. So first of all, I say it's age-related, because if you were to hear your parents engaged in coitus for the first time as an adult, you would most likely have a very different reaction. However, it is not age-specific, because once you have experienced something like that (particularly as a highly-impressionable child) it stays with you for life. For better or for worse. This is how phases become fetishes. We've all heard that before, haven't we? Oh it's just a phase, they'll grow out of it. But we don't. The behavior continues, only retracted into secrecy. Perhaps finding a more covert medium to modulate it through. How many people perusing these comments are also turned on by porn? Hidden cam, cctv, audio recordings? Or perhaps you just booked your room too close to the honeymoon suite by accident? Yet in the unconscious recesses of your mind, it all hearkens back to the same thing. Those long hot summer nights of creaking beds and heavy breathing ;)
What struck me the most was the intensity of my parents sex. I never knew that was what real sex sounded like. It was so different to anything I had seen on TV or in movies. Even after I discovered porn at age 12, I remember feeling confused because that's not what my parents sounded like lol. My room was right next to my parents bedroom with just a thin wall in between so I couldn't help but hear them. Even if I was asleep, it would often wake me up. Mom breathing really heavily, panting and gasping, moaning and squealing and like "Oh God... f**k me f**k me f**k me... harder harder!!!" Bed squeaking really fast and like a *thud* *thud* *thud* as it was hitting the wall. This was mostly on a Friday or Saturday night and went on for like 45 minutes to an hour! I probably heard them hundreds of times over the years and they were still going strong when I left home at age 19.
