Your kids might have some curiosity if they have heard you and your husband.
At 13 they would be mostly likely already be masturbating and exploring their own bodies.
Hearing you and your husband would not be the only thing that excites them if it even does.

Fun fact... two polls in relation to this subject were conducted on the parenting forum, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. The first asking "Sex while the kids are awake?" 74% of respondents saying "yes", with only 26% saying "no". The second poll asked the question "Sex while the kids are around... and awake?" Once again, 74% voted "totally normal", 21% "normal, but not for me" and just 5% answered "horrible parenting". So as you can see, with figures like this, it's not surprising that so many kids grow up having to hear their parents having sex. The onus of responsibility squarely falling on the parents and their apathy towards dignity and discretion.
It’s been over a year since I discovered my 13 year old daughter listening in which made sex extremely uncomfortable if she was home. I’ve since bought and read A Teen Girl Guide to Getting Off, before giving it to my daughter, and I somehow don’t seem to mind so much now. The book doesn’t have anything to do about listening in on your folks, but it just makes you remember what it was like to be that curious sexually frustrated teen. We still stay as descreat as possible, but just feel less icky about it.

As a parent myself, I think it's a little harsh to say it's our responsibility to make sure you kids don't hear us. What about your responsibility to mind your own business and not be eavesdropping on your parents? We live in the age of technology, where there is a never-ending supply of gadgets and gizmos to keep you lot more than amused for the half hour or so it takes mummy and daddy to play a round of leapfrog. So the way I see it, there's no excuse. Nobody is forcing you to hear anything. If you don't like it, then turn your music up louder and get over it.
Six of one and half a dozen of the other. Granted kids shouldn't be eavesdropping on their parents. But parents should also use a little common sense and not start banging away when they know the kids are still awake and can hear them. Privacy works both ways people!
Hello it's not wrong . I think it's pretty much ok if you only think about the noises. I've always been disgusted when it me as MY parents. I'm curious, has anyone ever been caught listening in on their parents or actually walked in on them doing it?
I never heard my folks DTD, nor would I have wanted to. But recently I've become aware that DS might have caught on to what DH and I are doing when we go upstairs for "movie night"
Since we have a TV in our bedroom, and DS is always on his Xbox in the living room, it seemed like the perfect excuse to get in some you know what without having to explain our prolonged absence
