I am 44 and will be 45 in a few months. I have a child, but suffered 3 miscarriages. My period was irregular for a long while, but has shown some regularity recently, eventhough the time between periods varies. I will like to know would I be able to conceive, because I am not aware of how to check my ovulation calendar, or if I am even ovulating. Can someone help me please.

Hi guest,

Pregnancy is a very real possibility.

You could see your ob/gyn or a fertility doctor for an exam but it is likely that you are ovulating.  You aren't indicating anything to suggest menopause yet.

Normally you will ovulate between about days 11 and 16 of your cycle.  Day 1 is when your period starts.  There are ovulation test kits available.  They look for specific hormones, much like a pregnancy test does.

Good luck.
