yes, I see what you're saying but bad things happen to everyone it's a fact of life some worse than others. I never said my mother was very loving in fact she was quite abusive to me every way except sexually and I don't have a strong relationship with her but I do respect her and i am greatfull that she did have me when she very easily could have chosen otherwise. My sister was molested by my uncle when she was 2 years old so i in no way came up in a normal environment. My sister still has some problems with it and she can remember it well, but she to would rather be alive and I think that what happened to the baby you were talking about is terrible and I hope that if guilty that offender recieves the harshest sentence there is to give him, although i'm sure it will never be as traumatic as what that child has gone through, however I think that child would still like to be alive and if not then let them decide that at least they got a chance to have a life then right. honestly if one of my sisters or my girl got raped and pregnant it would tear me apart and I would probably have a lot of hate in my heart towards the person that did it and myself for not protecting them. But if they did get pregnant deep down I would want them to have the child for it's sake, however if they chose otherwise I would still love them just as much and I would still be there the same as i am now probably more so to help them through it as much as i can even though I don't agree with what they would be doing. I think the only time an abortion would be appropriate is if the doctors could say that the mother would have a great risk of losing her own life if she was to continue the pregnancy. that is how I feel on this i am sorry if I have offended anyone and I would like to let you know that I don't agree with people just popping out kids with reckless regard to them either if you are to have children at least try to give them a good environment. I'll tell you this though no matter the circumstance if a child is given love by his/her parents/siblings the other things will fall in line I have seen it in my life and from others in a similarly bad situation.

right..i have got a 2 year old son and yes i am on the pill..but last weeki found out i was pregnant i am not in the situation to have another baby.the doctor informed me that the pill im taking is less effectiv in women 11 stone or over which i never knew about until last week..so for the people out there who are stupid MISTAKES DO HAPPEN AND WAIT UNTILL YOU DRIP UP YOU WONT BE SO QUICK TO JUDGE PEOPLE!!!!! >;)

I am so sorry to hear about your childhood and your sister's. :'( I really have a weak spot for children and I hate to see gown people do such things. But I am glad that you can still maintain a postive outlook despite your past. You seem like a pretty cool person.... the more we go back and forth in dialogue the more I see. Hello, I am a 24 y/o mom of 4. I am recently serparated from husband and have not file for a divorce due to $$$. I kinda rebounded on a guy from the past that I am unsure of my feelings about. We were using condoms with intercourse. I went to the Dr. to get put on the pill and she decided to run a preg test (this was like 5 days before my period was due) and turns out I'm pregnant. Just my luck! I'm stressed as heck and can not controll the ones I have. One is acting up in scholl and at home as well. One is very sensitive since dad left. One is hyper as heck and the other is always into everything. I am without a home and staying with this guy and my mother from night to night. I have no job cuz child care help is not offered unless already working and hard to get job when you have 2 kids to drag with you. (Trust me, I was asked to leave when applying)
There are already pregnancy issues and I just found out some major mental issues in the father's family. I do have medicaid but it does not pay for abortion. I don't have the money for it. There are already some pregnancy problems such as placenta pulling from uterine wall and chances of miscarrigae and as much as I hate to say it, I wish I would miscarry. I need help and have no clue where to get it. I am not willing to carry for I know I will change my mind and be worse off with another child. I already get NO child support from the others' dad. Not to mention I am so moody that I am snapping at my kids every time I turn around (hormones) and they don't deserve it.

I honestly want my life back! I love my kids and want them here with me....... but no more babies than the 4.

Not everyones perfect! and most of the time good mothers dont give an innocent baby a life because they might not be able to provide for them or its just not the time to bring one into the world. I think most parents would agree. Most of us can practice safe sex but sometimes birthcontrol dosent work!!! and yeah some people cant conceieve but um guess what there are adoption agencies out there. And you are the one who is dispicable for writing what you did for blaming caring parents for doing something semi right so next time dont bad mouth us unless you know our reasons for doing what we did!!!!

You used birth control, perhaps you should have made sure you KNEW HOW TO USE IT PROPERLY and engaged in using more then one method if your second plan was murder.

BC pills are meant to be used as a sole source of BC, some people, Like myself are allergic to latex condoms. Even the polyurethane ones are not good, they are rigid and break easily.

Abortion is a back-up plan if your BC Method fails...

There are soooo many forms of bc tho and your only talking about condoms and the pill!

The cost of an abortion is a concern, especially for those of limited income or young ages. Just because someone uses BC (Pills, Patches, IUD, Condoms, etc) does not always garauntee. I might not agree with abortion, it isn't for me, however it is someone else's life, not my own and I shouldn't be judging them for making choices they feel is right for them.

Sure, let's put Norplant in the arms of every woman, I think the 90's taught us how dangerous that form of BC was.

There are dozens of forms of BC and you do not have to reply on just ONE at any given time!!

How much does it cost to put a child up for adoption?

How much does it cost to be better educated before having sex?

When these are reasonable considerations a woman should be worrying about prior to engageing in sexual activity.... and mind you.. FREE!!

I became pregnant on an IUD, and I still trust them and use one, BUT, it could happen again %-) I very well could become pregnant on an IUD again, it is not gauranteed that I am safe. I am also happily married, and abstinance is not for us.

I cannot use hormonal BC methods at all, so I am left with only so many options.

MANY doctors will not give IUD's to women that have never had kids, even though planned parenthood and aboriton clinics have done this for YEARS.

Many doctors also do not agree with certain BC methods :/

Love is important, but it does not buy food, or pay the rent, so to some extent money is very important.

I work in an abortion clinic, I see 8-10 women every week come in pregnant after tubal ligations or a vasectomy..

I am considering a tubal ligation, but then I see these women and get scared..

This happened months ago, but this womans husband has a V, he had it like 1.5 years prior, clean sperm count... HE left her because he thought she cheated, she got an abortion and we sent out the tissue for paternity testing etc.. whatever they do..

I kept in contact with her because this hurt her terribly, she had 5 kids, and knew she was done permanently. Ins would only cover a V and not a tubal ligation for her, so they just went with the V...

She proved he WAS the father, and she left him even though he 'took her back'... Because she said that there was no reason for him to act like that.

Ummm.. Recent tubals, one woman had a tubal 6 months prior...Women that are 45-46 who have had tubals for 10-15 years will fidn hemselves pregnant.

When we say nothing is 100%, we really mean it :-P

They arent so high, ppl lie their whohas off to get free medical care 'after the fact'.

It is simply easier to get rid of a problem then it is to educate yourself about it and take every precaution.

In the case of vasectomy's.. testing can be done to make sure there is no sperm, there are ways to check these forms of BC.

ppl simply put it out of their minds.
