Ohkay, so I am 12, and I have this red pimple like bump on my labia. I am legit freaking out. got it 2 days ago, it didn't hurt on the first day, only itches and stings a bit when i squeeze my legs together. Now 2 days later, it hurts like hell, especially when I walk! First I thought it might just be a pimple, then I researched and realized that it might have been an ingrown hair as I just shaved a few days ago... is it normal for someone as young as me to get that? I'm only 12... I can't tell my mom, me and my parents aren't the close type, we never talk about intimate stuff (maybe it's a chinese thing? not tryna be racist here). So what should I do? Something that I read online said that if it was an ingrown hair, take a sterilized needle, poke it in, squeeze it out? What? That is just too scary, but does it work? Please help someone! I have school in 2 days, I can't go to school like this. I'm so scared. What should I do? Btw, I had my period already, I am not sexually active, so there can't be a possibility that I have a STI / STD. Still, is it normal for a 12 year old to get this!?!?!

Sounds like an ingrown hair, nothing to worry about!
At first they'll appear red and hurt real bad. After a day or two, they'll resemble pimples and develop a yellow head filled with pus. If you pop them (with clean hands, of course) they'll ooze out pus and that will be the end of them.
These usually pop up during dry shaving sessions. Always remember to lather when shaving and make sure you're moisturized afterwards!
