Hi, I can’t believe that my daughter could be an addict. She is 15 years old, but I have seen her calling dealer and ordering cocaine. Is it possible that she is already addicted?

Hi, my 20 year old son is heroin addict. I have tried to help him but without much success. For six I have been watching him grow thinner, paler. I wonder when is he going to have enough of it. The worst thing I could imagine happened when he took too much. He was shaking, sweating, shivering. Like a fewer but much severe. There is no detox center in our region, so they just gave him stimulants for vomiting and diarrhea in local hospital. I have been praying to God no to take him away. Later, he always was about to start a treatment but not successfully by now.

Yes, Martus. Your daughter is old enough to be an addict. There is no age limit to drug addiction. You might seek help from Al-A-Non, a support group for family members of addicts. It can really help you understand yourself and take care of yourself so that you can be there for your daughter.

Yes off course Martus, If you suspect your teen is has a drug problem, it is crucial to seek professional help. As a parent helping a drug-addicted teen, you should constantly be encouraging healthy activities and a nourishing diet. Motivate your daughter, engage her and participate in her hobbies.
