I have had a body itch for many years and for the passed 7 years, a horrible itching on my scrotum..
I have been to 3 dermatologists, 1 MD who did a huge amout of scratch tests and had a full patch test. The only thing that I was told is that I am allergic to frangrances. I followed this up by changing shampoos, soaps, to be only free of fragrances and Hypoallergenic.
I try to wear only cotton underware and clothing. I also went in for light therapy.
Nothing has worked sufficiently so i simply apply all the crappy creams and other stuff which gives me relief for operiods of time.
I have noticed that I may have a flare up when I get anxious but that is tough to control.
No bugs, no fleas, no scabies and no pussed filled pimples. I do get some rashes and small pimples but that eventually fgoes away.
Sorry people, I wish I had a better response and been able to offer some help.

Try a hypoallergenic and fragrance free soap. dove is not one of them. Phisoderm is the one soap I use. Does it help? The itching is only in control when I do put creams on but I still use phisoderm and other fragrance free products. It has helped a bit butuasing these certainly does not hurt my quest of getting itch free.

Hi Everyone, I've read many of these replies, my head went through on the exact same hypothesis.
None of them seem to be real for these particular symptoms.

I totally agree on that the stress levels is something to do with the thing... but only secondarily.
Fungus... yes probably plays a part, but why none of the antifungal creams works? 1, you used too many for too long period 2, your body is getting fungus really easy... What I mean on that?

I'm not a doctor or an expert, but I know that there is a natural fungal balance on your body with the many many bacterials whos maintaining your skin etc.

So I believe that a healthy skin and gut fungal and bacterial balance would sort out this thing.

If we fill up the body with probiotics, also the skin. I have a feeling that to simply apply organic yogurt to the skin would help restore the balance.

Maybe Im being stupid, I also think that what you eat is really matter. and ask yourself honestly about your eating habits. The high sugar and carbohydrate intake feeds the fungals all the time.

I dont have a very active lifestyle, but i realised that if I have a week or 2 being more active during the days the symptoms ease a little. so like training and active sport thing can play a part too.
