Boil hot water and then add salt get a face towel dip it in the water be careful cuz u will burn yourself then squeeze the excess water out and put that towel on your vagina keep doing that until the water cools down. Do this treatment for a week or until the itching starts to go away. Hope this helps!!!

Oh my gosh, I thought i was the only one. I have the EXACT same symptoms. It can't possibly be some sort of unknown STD because I'm still a virgin so it pains me to have absolutely no idea!

i have just had a biopsy done and it is VIN1. these are abnormal highly multiplying (hence the skin production) cells, possibly pre-cancerous, but i have had these symptoms for 18 years; i guess this is my normal. I had been using steroid cream (got one GP to agree it was eczema). the new specialist doctors have given me a type that is less hazardous.  I would be still using the wrong medication if i had not had the biopsy done, so the pain was worth it. I got them to sedate me for it as I am so scared of medical procedures due to a few real bad experiences.

SEE A SPECIALIST (the practice nurse refereed me to womens & childrens unit), GP'S (i have seen 6 over 18 years) DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, EVEN MY GU DOCTOR NEVER REFEREED ME IN OVER 10 YEARS.

I hope this helps x

From the sounds of it, its Jock itch. While common on men women get it to. Caused by a lower immune system from antibiotics. Anti fungal medicine and hydrocordizone cream for itch will get rid of it.

If you are sexually active and using condoms try nonlatex you may have a latex allergy. I've been only having this problem for a couple of months but before that nothing. I found switching to non latex helped rid me of the issue:) guess I developed an allergy to it somehow. Hope this helps good luck

Anyone with this problem should try going off toilet paper for a few days up to a week and see if there is any improvement. It might sound weird but it is actually very common. I switched to baby wipes and wash rags and noticed the symptoms were going away within 24hrs.

I read somewhere that it could be caused by lack of estergin. And since no one talked about getting there hormones checked I would suggest it! I heard being on the pill could solve the problem.

I went to the doctors to see why my vaginal area was peaking, dry and itchy and breaking open. Its BC of vaginal bacterial infection.

If you have been on antibiotics you most probably have thrush, i went through the same thing when i had a bad urinary tract infection.

A simple trip to the chemist will clear it all up :) hope that helps ladies

I find as long as I wash with water only every day under running water, it stays away. Even if I don't do it for one day I have all the flaky itchy stuff back again.
