I have read through almost all of these posts, these are only some of the possibilities i read of this possibly being, yeast infection, pH imbalance, eczema, a symptom of taking birth control, possible allergy to lubricants or latex, little to no chance of STI depending on your sexual activities, an effect of taking antibiotics, ect. I suggest two things to try before going to a doctor, 1. Take a probiotic Called florajen, it helps keep everything down there fresh down there and helps amazingly after yeast infections, you can take it everyday, it takes a couple days (when taken daily) to take effect as any medication. It is non- prescription but found at most pharmacies. 2. Use summer eve's balancing wipes when the peeling starts. You can also gently wipe everything off unless it is painful. I SUGGEST NOT TO USE SUMMERS EVE'S WIPES IF YOU HAVE OPEN SORES. Some are scented and could cause irritation. I have never had sores when I used it, it wasn't painful and relieving For a little after and helped clear up the peeling and itching faster but everyone is different.
I hope I gave everyone some good options

I have that issue right now. It was on the inside of my legs too. I used desitin to clear it up. Desitin is baby rash stuff but dude seriously. It soothes the itchiness. Idk if it's healing it quite yet because I've only used it for a couple days but just try it. It's in the baby section. It's called DESITIN. Don't use the adult stuff either, cuz it burns like crazy.

Thank you so much for the interesting info. i've been looking for help for months and never even found the Cytolitic Vaginosis online. I'm very frustrated, the vulvar dermatologist has no idea, the GP has no interest and the sex health clinic does not care as it is no STD. I am hoping that this might be the solution. Thank you :)

Its a bacteria called candida. Wear lose clothes and I had to take two pills in the morning and at night called gynflu, my boyfriend too. Then put a cream 3
Times a day for 3 days for the soreness and red areas. And insert flagystatine which is a soap-like thing you insert on your vagina just before going to bed for 5 nights. I'be also had this problem for about 2 weeks+ now and have had it before. Promiss this'll get the job done.

I've been having this problem for the past three days, right after I stopped taking some antibiotics for a respiratory infection. So I'm guessing that is the main cause to this. Very itchy, sore pain & Loss of moist skin. If the Gyno doesn't help, what can I do about this??

Hi, I have been having the same problem reoccurring every now and then for the last couple of years, I always find that Savlon has helped me but you need to really stop itching because it's back to square one as soon as you do again and the healing skin comes off. Try a thrush treatment to stop the itching and keep applying savlon every couple of hours, keep it in your handbag because it won't look suspicious as a thrush cream would - it's embarrassing but treatable

I have the exact same thing! It's driving me crazy and I don't know what to do! I've gotten it while I am still taking antibiotics for my respiratory infection also. I can't stand it, it's embarassing and the more you wipe the more it comes off and sticks! Please help!

Same! I started itching on the last day of my period as soon as I put on that pad! Now it's peeling and unlike most people that replied, mine is very dry and it hurts when it peels but I peeled it all off and put coconut oil on it last night and it is a little better today. I think it's just a really bad case of irritation.

It's thrush guys. A lot of us get it at a result of antibitics. Yeast infections can be on the skin also. So if you only treat your vaginal hole with suppositories, you putter labia tend to get ignored. I was on antibiotics and age yorgut and use an YI cream afterwards because I felt the itchiness begin, but it still developed into an YI on my outer skin. For a natural cure. I take a glove and a cotton swab. Drinch it in gentian violet and rub it all over the inside of my labia. Itchy symptoms went away immediately. Only thing it's messy and can dye things. Wear a panty liner in your undies for a few days.

Im currently on antibiotics for pneumonia that I have and I guess this is whats affecting my vaginal area, as this has never happened before.
