I also had this and went to the gynecologist. He didn't find anything wrong with me. I then went to my primary care physician, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I have been taking medication for my diabetes and now have it under control. The vaginal problem is completely gone now. It was a symptom of the type 2 diabetes, you should be tested.

I have been suffering from this for a very long period of time. The itch has been killing me, and when I scratch, the skin peels off. It hurts when I walk. The areas around the clit has been extra sensitive and painful. I have been having the discharge as well. Lately the skin around the vulva peeled off and has gotten worse. Very painful when I stretch and all. I was too afraid to let my parents know but then I couldn't take it anymore. I HAVE FINALLY STEPPED UP TO THE DOCTOR. And she was so nice. I am 17 by the way. She examine the situation and gave my some cream, oral pills and something for cleaning. I have been very afraid and embarrassed before but I'm telling all of you, VISIT THE DOCTOR. It honestly was not bad at all and she was so cool about it. Good luck ladies!

Dr. Cheryl Eberting answered: What does it mean when you have dry skin on your vagina that itches and bleeds? Allergic dermatitis  An allergic contact dermatitis is very common in this area. This can be caused by an allergy to things like: benzalkonium chloride in lubricants fragrances in lubricants, maxi pads or soap Avoid the use of soap in this area and ask your doc. to check and see if it looks like an allergic dermatitis and try a topical prescription steroid.

I had the same issues for a few years. My skin would itch, peel, and then burn when I would bathe or tinkle. The skin was so dry and the lips would stick together. The dr thought I was crazy and did a hole punch biopsy and got zero results. I learned it's a pH imbalance caused from many different issues. Rephresh proB $30 at walmart and eating yogurt helped

Ladies next time u wanna use the bathroom make sure it neat and clean and dnt sit on a public toilet seat because these stuff are transferable , make sure u clean urself and mind the soap u use with time it would go away.AND MAKE SURE U WEAR CLEAN PANTIES OR USE A PANTYLINER.

I have the same problem. it started about 7 days ago. i've had the same problem previously aswell though this time the only difference is that my vagina is not as swollen. i did go to the doctors previously and she said it was just a normal yeast infection. she gave me a over the counter cream and it worked.

but this time around, i havent been to the doctors however ive been treating it myself with vaseline and detol (disinfectant), it has been working so far and my condition has gotten a little better, but for faster improvement i might just have to go back to the doctor for prescribed medicine.

What you have may be a yeast infection. I get them every single time after taking antibiotics

I have had this for years too. It is the tight clothes. Any time I wear tight clothes for to long I break out. And summer is the worst ! It's because of moisture. And when your wet ( from anything, swimming, bathing, period, or just normal everyday women stuff.) The tight clothes hold it there and the skin breaks out! My doctor calls it psoriasis, and I do believe that's what it is. When I treat it like psoriasis it goes away and stays away for the most part.

I've also have the exact same problems, been going on a month. Itching , peeling around clit & sore inside of my vagina. I know I don't have an STD but I don't know what it is either. Also its a mild smell but its not bad. The smell came with the itching and peeling. Does anyone have an answer yet ? PLEASE
