U most likely are miscarrying. When this happened to me my doctor asked me to take a pregi test first to make sure it was not a miscarriage

I have been experiencing this since I was 19. I was at post secondary school at the time and assumed it was provoked by stress. Almost 10 years later and I'm still experiencing it. I am 28 now. I have no children, only one partner, I've never used birth control, I'm healthy and I have done many ultrasound test and paps and they all come back normal. The doctors, yes doctors have all related it as a hormonal issue. I bleed so much that I am now considered anemic for the past 4 years. I hate having to go through so much underwear. My partner is understanding but I, myself am over it all. I just want to be free from the bleeding.

Hi, I'm 14. (Sorry if this is a little graphic) I had my first period in Febuary this year, I had no cramps and it was relatively light. It lasted about 8 days and then stopped. Around a week later I started spotting for a few days. I then missed my period for about 2 months but was assured it was just because I hadn't settled into a cycle. Halfway through May, my period started again; it was very heavy to begin with and lasted around 9 days. A week later it started again and hasn't stopped since. I've had no cramps and it's been mostly light except a few days where it was very heavy. I've told my mum and she thinks my body is just catching up for what I missed but all my friends think there may be something wrong with me. I'm scared about going to the doctors and am not sure if I need to. Every now and then I get bloody discharge, not sure whether that still counts as a period. I also sometimes pass clots. Was just wondering if you ever got it sorted and what you did about it.

Isent this to someone else but have currently had no response, probably due to the fact that her comment was posted a few years ago. A response from you seemed more hopeful, was just wondering what you think I should do.

Thank you for posting this, at least I know I'm not the only one. I've been bleeding every day for 10 weeks & yes, can be very depressing to say the least, but mine is from a different reason. Taking birth control (hormones) every day to stop my period. I just hope it stops real soon. Good luck to you!

Hey guys I'm 21 and have had an irregular period since I was 12 years old. So my period wouldn't come for 2 months sometimes longer my aunt would think I was pregnant at 12!! And when it comes I'll bleed for 2 months or longer. But that was not the case she took me to her obgyn and I've been going to him since he put me on birth control for most of my teenage years to regulate my cycle which did help but I would have more pains, heavy heavy bleeding and huge clots so I stopped taking them pills. I've never been on no type of shots. He ran several tests for my horomones and things but I'm afraid what the results might be I'll go soon and update you guys. Besides that he checked inside my ovaries with a camera everything was fine and healthy I asked if I can carry a child he said yes their healthy. At the last visit he actually diagnosed me and asked if I always loose weight and gain weight I told him yes ever since I was young it's been going up and down. Right now I've been bleeding for 2 months it stopped for like 4 days and came back darker and less heavy. Im just so sick of this what man will ever marry me or even date me without cheating when I can't give him what he wants ... I feel like I'm wearing diapers everyday sometimes I feel weak and my dr has put me on pills to stop the bleeding and it made it worse!!! The bleeding was ever heavier like it's ridiculous that's why I stay away from pills and meds. But yeah that's my life hope this helps someone and if u have any questions or know something please inform me and I'll be going for my hormones tests soon! Keep me in your prayers

Iv been bleeding non stop bright red using at least six pads a day since November 26. Diagnosed with a thick uterus wall 2 1/2 cm. And fibroids 4 small size and cyst in my ovaries. I was put on progesterone and iron. I had a uterine wall biopsy. On day 18. And given the medicine. The cramps that I have starting Day 20 are like early labor pains. Right after and during this pain that mimics labor I have a gush of blood and clots that usually fill the pat ( always long thin/wings. This is my third bag of 5or 53 always) I'm not going to lie this pain truely hurts and the bleeding is just non stop. I'm worn out. Drained now my pelvic area hurts and my iips and lower back. This is miserable. The biopsy on a positive note was not concerning and not cancerous . I have an appointment on the 4th I'll keep you up to date . Ohhhh also thyroid and menopause test both negative not even close to menopause.

I have the same Exactly problem of irregular menstrual cycle and I am 45 years old. I used to have regular cycle of 28 days until I was getting to 44 years old, it started getting irregular menstrual cycles. I didn’t have period for 3 months and I am currently having period over 2 months now, at first it was spotting, then heavy bleeding with blood clots, then light and heavy bleeding again for a couple of hours and it’s still going on now. I went to see many Doctors and did so many tests: urine test (negative-no pregnancy), blood tests (no peri-menopause), endometrial biopsies (non-cancer and no endometrial lesions), and ultrasound (no cyst, no polyps, & no fibroid tumors ...), all test results came back with Negative... based on the test results, I’m fine but Doctors believe that the hormonal imbalances may cause the long time bleeding so they suggested me taking birth control pills which I don’t like to do that, so I am still bleeding but I’m glad to read all of your problems listed in this website and realized that birth control pills does not help either. So I really don’t know what to do st this moment.
