I was on methadone for 2 years I got up to 70 mls and about 6 onths ago i started coming down every week at that time i wasn't feeling any withdraw symptoms i got down to 5 mls and stopped taking it i have been off my drink for 13 days now and i have no energy and my body feels so sore and tired i cant sleep and my ankles and feet are constantly twisting LITERALLY when i try to sleep. how much longer will the withdraws lasts please help. I cant wait to feel normal again.
about a 2 weeks from when you last used. you start feeling better suddenly after about 2 weeks. jumping from 5 ml isnt much. and your luckier than a billion people out there.
its only because of the long half life. still an opiate.

very true, I have stopped cold turkey from 100mgs., today is my 14th day and it has been pure hell. so believe me it can be much worse.. plus I have a 5 yr old son, thank God for my parents but I hate not being able to take care of him. Methadone is an evil drug and they shouldn't allow anyone to go to the clinics, it should be strictly controlled and only given to people who are dying! Methadone, drug straight from the government to keep you hooked for money, that's why the withdraw can almost kill you or make you wish so.. So I agree with you
