Please, help me. I cannot coupe with my mother. She thinks she has a kidney cancer. I tried to explain to her that she cannot diagnose herself, but she is persistent in her belief. She spotted blood in her urine 2 days ago and she immediately thought of the worst. Her friend died from kidney cancer 6 months ago and I just do not know what to do now. I mean, could she really have this condition?
One of the kidney cancer symptoms rally is blood in urine, but very small percentage of those people with this symptom are actually having cancer. More likely, blood is there because of kidney infection or kidney stone. In addition, only one cancer in fifty is kidney cancer. Therefore, there is very small chance that your mother is suffering from this condition. Of course, she still has to go to a doctor because of that blood in urine.
