I noticed about 1.5 months ago that there was a round growth in my labia minora on the left side. sometimes it will shrink to the size of a quarter, and other times(usually instigated by irritation like rough sex or a yeast infection) it can swell to be much larger making things such as standing or sitting for extended periods of time very uncomfortably. When It is inflamed it can by painful to wipe with toilet tissue and the swelling can last up to a week before it goes down.

This sounds like a bartholins cyst. its basically a blocked duct, that is likely to change size and shape throughout your cycle and if irritated. normally these settle without any problems but if its persistent you may wish to see your doctor.
