Left shoulder swollen

I have had a swolllen left shoulder for about 7 months and only recently (about a week ago) started having severe pain which is controlled with pain killers 2 tabs every 6 hourly. I do have slight painful numbness that comes and goes in my left arm and about a week ago excruiating pain in the base of my neck. I can lift my arms without pain and movement is okay. The swellling in my shoulder was painless for about 7 months and suddenly the shoulder became painful. I have sleepless and sweaty nights since last week and feel constantly tired.

Is there anyone out there who has similar symptoms as me I would love to hear from you.
