Hi,
I was diagnosed with epididymitis about 6 months ago. It has only just started to stop being painful but I've noticed that my left testicle, when looking down, is slightly more 'in front' of the other. This was certainly not an issue before. Could this be some mild inflammation still present (even though there's no discomfort) that's just sliging it forwards on an angle a bit? Is this something that should clear with time? I can't find too much information about this so I'm a bit worried.
Many thanks!
This has happened to me too... Can anyone explain why my testicle looks slightly more outwards than the other one? It didn't used to do this, and it's also been hanging slightly higher than it used to. Is this a problem? I'm worried, but when I went to the doctor before it happened (it was painful), he only told me it was swollen and he didn't know what was wrong with it. We took both an ultrasound and a CT scan, with no bad results. Also, they tested my blood and urine, and found a high white blood cell count, but no real signs of anything. We just assumed it was a mild case of epididymitis, and I took antibiotics. Now the pain is pretty much gone, but my testicle still looks different, and it's still in a new place. From what I have read, this is a common happening to people recovering from epididymitis, but is it harmful, or will it ever go back to before? I just want to be able to sleep again without worrying about waking up in pain from something horrible like tortion.
