Please help me! I have very busy job and work long hours. I have no time or desire to cook, and I admit to picking up some fast food from the drive thru on most nights, and then eating it in the car. When I get home, I usually have a snack or two as well. All of this of this resulted in me being 20 kilos overweight now. Not a pretty sight. I do want to lose the weight, but I am feeling lost and don't know where to start. What is the best way to go about losing serious weight?
Wow, I must commend you for being so courageous to start on a difficult weight loss journey. It will be tough, but please know and remember at all times that you will feel a lot better at the other side! I last ten Kg over a long period of time, and I feel great now. What really helped me is seeing a dietician about it before starting. With a personal diet plan and some exercise, I had the confidence that I could pull it off. And I did! Perhaps you should not cut fast food out of your diet totally, as that will cause you to relapse. Start slowly and then build up. Good luck and lots of strength to you!
Thank you for your response! That was really helpful. Can you please tell me how you go about seeing a dietician then? And once you meet up with them, what kind of things do they do for you? In terms of weight loss, how much do you think is attainable on a weekly basis? How did you do this? I'd appreciate your answers :-). Thanks for your support as well.
