Hey, I don't want to scare you but those sound like symptoms of a stroke.
I do not know if that is possible but thats what I thought of when I read your description. You can read symptoms at this website:
http://www.heartandstroke.com/site/c.ikIQLcMWJtE/b.3483937/k.8989/Warning_Signs.htm

Heres some info from that sight

Weakness - Sudden loss of strength or sudden numbness in the face, arm or leg, even if temporary.

Trouble speaking - Sudden difficulty speaking or understanding or sudden confusion, even if temporary.

Vision problems - Sudden trouble with vision, even if temporary.

Headache - Sudden severe and unusual headache.

Dizziness - Sudden loss of balance, especially with any of the above signs.

if the symptoms are only temporary it could be a TIA (transient ischaemic attack), and as may_tess said it could be a stroke.

if the symptoms persist go and see your doctor.

Seeing your doctor is the right thing to do, but if they can't tell you anything..... here's a thought.
I have severe food intolerances to sugar, glucose and honey. When I mistakenly eat something, I get a SEVERE headache that lasts exactly 4 days from the time I've eaten or drank the stuff. On about the 3rd day of this headache, the right side of my face goes numb, from the eye down to the jawline. It's screaming territory and I try to stay away from people that I might hurt!!!

In my teens and 20's, before a fabulous doctor figured this out, I ate a fairly normal diet filled with cakes, sweet tea, etc and just always had a headache - some days were better than others, but I always had the headache. After the doctor figured it out and I stopped ALL ingestion of added sugar, the daily headache went away XD but the more severe ones and the numbness came with even little 'mistakes'.

I'm now 57, headache free, sugar free, and loving life without the headaches and numbness that goes with it.

Moral to story - there IS life without sugar, headaches and facial numbness!!

Cheers
Marci
