My boyfriend and I engage in sexual activity but we haven't had any real sexual intercourse yet, just you know, mutual masturbation, that sort of thing. During one such incident, I bled quite a lot from my crotch. At first I thought my period had come (as I've been feeling hornier the last couple of days, it's generally like that just before my period) and put a pad on, but I noticed that I didn't bleed very much after that. Even the next morning the pad was not very stained.
So I suppose it wasn't my period, and I'm guessing my hymen broke or something but I had thought there would be some pain and there was none at all..? :| So clueless!

Well it is possible that your hymen broke.. However it's also possible the masturbation is causing some of the bleeding. Vaginal Bleeding occurs for many reasons. Most women get panicy when they have discharge and they are not near their period.
If you continue bleeding or start filling more than 1 pad a day it can't hurt to check up with your doctor.
