Wow, this is so relieving to see so many people concerned and suffering from this. To all of those who keep suggesting that it is gas, STOP! All of us have had gas before, we know what it feels like! And often times after these feelings-there is no release of gas-therefore it was NOT gas. It feels like a baby kicking, others can feel it, it can be witnessed, etc. THAT IS NOT GAS.
The most common trend I'm seeing for diagnosis is IBS. I don't believe IBS is something you have, I believe it is just another form of damage to the gut from something whether it be an allergy, intolerance, leaky gut etc. that causes enough damage over the years to case permanent damage.
Here are similarities I've seen in the posts that are similar to mine:
I have PCOS
I had a baby 11 mos ago and these symptoms started about 3 months ago.
I have the feelings under my right side, under the ribcage and in my lower left abdomen.
I have been woken up at night from it.
Hip pain
Joint pain
Distended abdomen
Weight gain
Fatigued
I keep having dreams about something living inside me, it's unnerving! I'm freaking out a bit as well, trying to keep it together.
Now, something that did precede all of this was after the birth of my son almost 7 years ago, I had severe gall bladder attacks and then had my gall bladder removed. (center of the chest pain, back pain, right shoulder pain-these are all correlated with gall bladder issues) Had I known then what I know now, I would have never had my gall bladder removed. The problem starts in the liver, it's just picked up i the gall bladder malfunction. Your liver is actually where gallstones are made and where your bile is produced via the biliary system. Removing the gall bladder is just removing a part of the equation that works sometimes to get rid of the attacks. I had no issues after the removal, no bowel changes either until I became pregnant again. I then lost alot of my appetite and started to lose weight. I believe this may have triggered my liver into overdirve. I started suffering from gall bladder attacks again(same pain but with no gall bladder), diarrhea, immediate urge to void my bowels, incredible pain to the point of seeing spots and almost passing out, nausea, and an uncomfortable feeling I can't describe.
At around 20 weeks along, I gained an appetite back and started eating more and the attacks stopped. I still had dizziness, my blood pressure started to climb (this was never an issue before-even when pregnant), I then was constipated-the rest of my pregnancy was not easy. I had lots of pain in my hips which was unlike my last pregnancy and was fatigued the entire time. I gave birth to a huge baby 12+ pounds. After the birth I lost all of the "baby weight" in about 10 days. My son developed thrush and I developed a ductal fungal yeast infection. NOTHING was working to remove my son's thrush. I tried gentian violet -5 series of it, infant probiotics on the tongue, tea tree oil and oregano oil on his feet--then I went the medical route using Nystatin then Diflucan for 2 weeks-still present.
The lame GP recommended I keep my son on Diflucan indefinitely since it wasn't going away--but the Diflucan wasn't kicking it either. I called my Naturopath and he recommened I take and give my son Saccharomycees Boulardi Complex which is a beneficial yeast strain that kills off Candida Albicans-the yeast to blame for most fungal infections. Yay-my son's thrush was finally gone in 3 days and my ductal infection also went away, however....
I had the most horrible gas for the next week. My Naturopath told me that was the result of killing off the yeast. He said to take it for another week. After that I went off of it. The gas stopped but then I developed a rash all over many of my fingers on both hands. It made my skin flake, crack and bleed and would not go away. Band-aids seemed to make it spread. It started as a rash that looked like poison ivy-little clear fluid filled vesicles that then broke open. I used lotion, tea tree oil, coconut oil, wore gloves, etc.
Summer came and the rash finally died down but the gas returned for the next 4 or so months. I went back on the SBC and added a top quality probiotic-no change. Then I ran out and I stayed off of it. The gas went away about 2 months ago and the rash came back again. It is now mild and I'm taking just the probiotic. Oh and my anus did start itching about a week ago.
Googling the "rash that looks like poison ivy but isn't" yield a result of something called dyshidrotic dermatitis. It's caused by a systemic fungal infection and/or a metal allergy! Now I've never had a metal allergy before....so did I develop one or are people who have a systemic fungal infection with suffering "guts" just reacting to metal and other things since their guts are impaired for the time being?
The "phantom baby movement" started about 2 months ago. At first I dismissed it because my friend has liver cancer right now and I was feeling sensations, pushing, squirming etc. in my right upper quadrant, right under my ribcage for a few weeks. I thought my dreams and feelings were because of her. Until it woke me up one night and I felt it, and then felt "it" move away from my fingers when they probed. I woke up my husband and told him I had to see a Dr. soon as I must have a huge parasite! He dismissed me...we don't have insurance right now so I can't just pop into the ER plus I hate doctors-all they know how to do is treat symptoms and dismiss actual complaints from people, trying to fit you in a box as soon as they can!
I am going to see a Naturopath (new one) in a couple of weeks and I WILL post back to let you'all know what I find out. I trust her to listen to me and not to diagnose me with some BS intestinal issue. I don't know if any of what I've said above has helped you at all. But some guy on page 3 mentioned he had a fungal infection and had these symptoms and when that was treated, they resolved. My symptoms seem to match that more than anything else.....or it is a huge parasite.
makes you feel like a faud when they have no answer we must keep fighting
Please, come on guys. It's just IBS (and a very common symptom of IBS). No one has an alien living in their guts.
