I have similar pain during and just after clitoral orgasm, lower left side, I suppose near where their tubes might have been. Though I usually always have pain during penetrative sex. I was diagnosed with adenomyosis and fibroids, I had very painful and heavy periods for over 10 years. They decided to do a hysterectomy.

I've had my uterus/cervix and tubes removed, still have ovaries. After the hyserectomy I started getting the pain during clitoral orgasm. I still get pain during penetrative sex, I think it's a little more painful since my hysterectomy. I wonder what causes the pain as well, I think maybe it's scar tissue pain from the hysterectomy. Has anyone else had the orgasm pain after having a hysterectomy?

Same here with this problem. I haven't been sexually active in many years and in fact I don't give myself orgasms because of the pain. Though at times when I'm sleeping I wake up in the process of having an orgasm even though I'm not doing anything to myself. My hands are even buried under my head. But the pain is ridiculous. It feels like the worst menstrual pain ever and the pain lasts for about 10-15 minutes. I'm also noticing the my menstrual pain is also horrible. I'm having all sorts of issues gynecologically for the past 2 years. I have an a appointment with an O.B. tomorrow actually so I'm just checking the internet for any kind of info. I guess its all a waiting game but looks like I'm not the only one but apparently there's not a lot of diagnosis on the specific nature of it. Guess I'll see too.

I have been experiencing the same problem for at least 10yrs. I have had MRIs, uterine biopsy and colonoscopy. All normal. I recently read something by a doctor who felt it was due to a drop in hormones and recommended HRT. My problem did begin (I think) after I had my ovaries removed for unrelated issues. I myself have not tried HRT, but I think many women who are much younger and not menopausal, experience the same problems. I did however recently see a urogynecologist for bladder issues and mentioned the dysorgasmia. She felt the pain may be coming from the contractions pulling on opening of the uterus. I think she said uterus. Some female organ in the area with a small opening. But how does problem get fixed? I have to have bladder surgery, so the doctor is also going to investigate to see if she can help me. She also specializes in female pelvic pain. Good luck to anyone with this little known condition.

Pretty sure it's an oblique muscle spasm kind of like a Charly horse in your stomach during a good organism. Thinks of the cramps you can get in your butt and hams during sex. Its like the same thing and it hurts like hell. I get them sometimes to but I think that is why the Drs can't find anything because there nothing to be found but a cramp in your muscle. Just a thought

I have had lower ab pain with orgasm for at least 20 years. I've had every scan and test my OB/GYN could think of and got no answers. Strange thing though is that the pain is ALWAYS on my lower LEFT abdomen. I had a routine colonoscopy a month ago, and the doctor found diverticulosis, a condition that also causes pain most often in the lower left side, even though the pain can happen on the right side. I am not an expert by any means, but I have done quite a bit of research on this topic to try to find out what was going on. One thing I found was that the clitoris shares a nerve with the anus, the pudendal nerve, which could connect the pain during orgasm with the sensation of needing to pass stools, even if you don't. I wonder if the stimulation of that nerve can irritate diverticulosis.
