Hello I am 36 and have inflammatory uterus disease, fibroids on my uterus and cyst on my ovarie. I've been to 5 different gynecologist and need a hysterectomy but no one will do it because I'm high risk a new symptom for me these past two months is when I have intercourse and have an orgasm the shooting pain for my clitoris straight up to my stomach causes more pain than it's worth I am in constant pain and don't know what else to do.
I'm 60 in menopause but had endometriosis
I'm 52,I do have a small cyst on my left ovary but the pain I get is on my right,I've had ultrasound scans and an internal one done and also a colposcopy.i was told it was nothing to worry about, hope they are right
I am having the same problem. Very painful...doctors dont seem to know...why is this such a mystery?
I'm no doctor but experience the same pain.since everyone else who went to get it checked and were told there was nothing wrong,my guess would be something with the nervous system. Might want to see a neurologist. Have neuropathy in my feet which causes same sharp pains.
Im experiencing the same thing. Did you figure anything out?
Hi everyone, I have the same problem, pain during orgasm. I’ve had scans and been referred to gyn.
I have other painin my left side shoulder arm and hip and I’m now wondering if it’s fibromyalgia, any thoughts?

I’m feeling this way too
Omg this is happening to me , exactly what youre going through !! I need answers myself.
I have the exact same pain. Have had it for a few years now. Doctor thought I was crazy because he couldn’t find anything wrong with me. I did have an ultrasound that found I had a fibroid. Tho my gynaecologist said it could not be causing the pain I’m feeling. So at this point I’m at a loss, but I keep search for answers because I have a feeling Somethings just not right. I should say I have always had irregular periods and diagnosed with PCOS. But I have been on metformin for a while and no longer have the cysts on my ovaries. However, I still have irregularly wired cycles with hirsutism. It’s awful... I just want to be normal.
Well I have this as well and I am just past menopause. A couple of things to mention to some of you is I previously had what was called mettleschmerks (sp?)This would occur every month when the ovary released the egg. There was something surrounding the egg that was toxic to my system That would cause extreme pain. Even at times the abdomen felt swollen and painful to the touch. Of course this could occur at any time, day or night or during sex and/or orgasm. I found it eventually pretty predictable within a day or two Two weeks after your period ends. My gyno knew immediately what is was.
Perhaps orgasm would cause the ovary to release but it began sporadically and
Became permanent. My gyno prescribed pain meds. I've also had fibroid cysts and if they burst they are beyond painful and suggest a trip to the ER. But
Now I have this bad pain whenever I orgasm. Asked my Dr (no longer have a gyno) and she had
No answers for me. Said she had never heard of pain during orgasm. Well obviously from everyone on this page, I'm not the only one. If anyone does get a satisfactory diagnosis please post! They don't do a lot of research on women's health let alone sexual health. Go figure.
