Do not use soap. From personal experience, after a couple months of using it, the skin on your penis and scrotum will begin to peel, and it will hurt very badly.

I usually use baby oil or lotion. It really depends how much to use. I'm 14 and I usually get caught if I use too much of something. I use a two pumps of lotion for every three inches (I'm six and a half inches so I use four or five). Enjoy!
