My 22 year old son just told me he has a pea sized lump above his adams apple. I said he should see a doctor, he said it's been there 2 months and has not changed in size. Can anyone tell me that has seen a doctor what happened, what the diagnosis was, so I can tell him? Thanks....
Hi, I'm a 14 y/o male and I came across the lump last night. I saw a pic of myself on Facebook and noticed my adams apple looked large which brought me to feel my throat. I then came across this tiny pea sized bump directly above my adams apple. It does not hurt to touch or to move and I have no trouble speaking, swallowing, breathing, eating, drinking etc. I'm fairly sure it's nothing to be worried about and when I asked my dad (no genius by the way) he said it is just my throat developing. That's just his opinion. I've heard of swollen glands and the like and I remembered I was playing a rugby match 3 days ago and I got a pretty hard bang on my throat from a swinging arm. I would appreciate any response. Thanks :)
