Hi everybody. I have a pronounced lump at the place where my earlobe meets my neck. I’ve noticed it long ago - it swells up sometimes even for months and then it just disappears. At first I thought that it was a large zit underneath my skin, but now I believe it could be a swollen lymph node... Any ideas? Should I be concerned??

Lymph nodes and sebaceous cysts can occur in that region. So, that is one very possible option. Lymph nodes usually swell when your body has an infection to defeat. So, probably that was the reason for the swelling. I don’t think that it is something serious, especially knowing the way you had it... On the other hand, if it starts hurting you, you should have it checked – just in case...
