This morning my throat started hurting, and it progressed into a feeling of a lump in my throat... now the lump is further down my esophagus, sitting far below my adam's apple. Every time I swallow it hurts my throat... and just a few minutes ago I kept having to make myself throw up becaue the lump below my adam's apple felt really under pressure. I didn't really throw up, I just worked some brown stuff up my throat and spit it out. I did this so many times I guess it damaged my esophagus or something but I kept working up blood mixed with the brown stuff.
Hello,
have you even considered the option that you're just having a sore throat? Throwing up won't change a thing if you got strep infection or if your throat is hurting due to flu infection. On the contrary, it will only irritate the throat and tonsils further (if you didn't have them taken out).
You even say yourself that you think you might have damaged your esophagus - chances are that you haven't and that bloody and brown stuff you are seeing is actually from damaged tissue in your throat. Do you have fever or chills?
