I've missed my period for allmost 3 months and I want to the doctors too take a pregnancy test it was negative I don't no what to do is a blood test better???
blood tests test for the pregnancy hormone hCG. you need that hormone in order to be pregnant, so yes they are a little better. you will get the hormone in your blood before you would in your urine. but if you're not pregnant, your doctor did not want to find out why you haven't had a period in three months?
your doc should really be addressing why you haven't had your cycle... if he already gave u a serum pregnancy test and it was negative he should give you something to jump atart your cycles again in most cases
