YES! Spot on. Mushroom trips are all dependant on how much BS you have in your head. In other words: A guy who is care free and not stressed. Doesn't care about material goods and is satisfied with being who he/she is. They will have a good trip.

People with constant sh*t going through their head. Worry worry worry, work work work, clean clean clean, I have stuff to do or I want control, or anything of that nature will spin you into a bad trip. Just let go and enjoy the ride. If you find your mind is gong too fast, smoke some weed and it will clam you down. Weed and Mushrooms are the best combo, since they are both safe and natural and seem to fit together quite nicely.

Mushrooms are NOT a drug. Despite what that piece of paper at the Governments office says. They are just what they are, A MUSHROOM WITH MYSTICAL POWERS. It is a key to the mind. It allows you to go into a whole other consciousness (That most people aren't in touch which, it's called the DMT dream world) and fix yourself and all your personal problems but from another mind!

Mushrooms are going to be the substance that frees humanity from it's mental enslavement.

Don't know what I am talking about when I say mental enslavement? Go research on The Illuminati and why Marijuana and Shrooms are illegal. They profit more off of us being scared, stupid and obeying.

The saddest thing for me, is when I see a fellow Human being saying things like:

"I am a good Christian, I believe in God, and yet... I am really sad and hate life, why won't God save me?"

Delusions implanted in your mind to keep you blind to the big picture. There are humans out there who have all the scientific knowledge and they use that knowledge to control us because they know how our brains work. I'm not saying there isn't a God, because there is. There has to be SOMETHING that created this, since something can't come from nothing. (Thats a Scientific fact that proves God) But God isn't what most people think it is... It's not a being or a person. It's more of an energy, and entity if you will. And it has no intention of directly intervening in your human life. And even if it could, I wouldn't want it to. Because this is my life and the only life I get. I wanna know I did everything myself and with the help of other humans :)

Magic Mushrooms break that control. It makes you immune to their propaganda and scare tactics and reveals them for what they are.

You begin to see what life is really all about (Peace, happiness and being together with said loved ones) everyone already knows what I typed in brackets. But so few ever actually practice it, or stick with it. Lot's of angry, depressed people in the world who are so lost. And question life and it's meaning and where they fit in.

You are all beautiful human beings and are capable of ridiculously powerful things. Remember, it's not that we are scared of being inferior to others. It's that we are scared that we are more powerful than anyone can possibly imagine and we choose to sit here and let someone else tell us how to live our lives. What drugs we can or can't take. What religions we can or can't believe in. What music or television we can or cannot watch. They censor EVERYTHING (The Illuminati). And you would never even know, because... It's censored so you don't know the original!

One final note on the benefit of Mushrooms: It makes you realize everything you have learned in life, is just that. Something you learned from someone else. Doesn't make it fact. Just makes it your belief. (Most of the time you believe in someone else's belief unknowingly)

There are people in the world so ignorant, that if you try and tell them something thats different from their current state of mind or thought or belief system, they will FREAK OUT! And deny everything you say, even if it's truth. Magic Mushrooms fixes that too.

LSD IS PERFECTLY SAFE! IN FACT SCIENTISTS HAVE PROVEN THEY ARE SAFER THAN MUSHROOMS!!! >< AND MUSHROOMS ARE HARMLESS!

You just need to NOT be a messed up in the head if you are taking it, which sadly 70% of the people in this world tend to be.

when done in the proper setting (stress and responsibility free) and with the right people (your first time should probably not be by yourself, although more experienced users can benefit grealty from the solitude) shrooms can truly give you an out of body life altering experience. they help you prioritize what it truly important in your life, such as relationships and self-improvement. it is easy to lose your sense of self in the soul killing tasks of day to day living, and doing shrooms once or twice a month can help counteract feelings of depression (becoming so common these days) and help you find meaning in your life. of course shrooms are not for everybody. if you do have an anxiety disorder shrooms may bring it out, but its worth a try just be careful have a xanax or alcohol on hand (psycoblins worst enemies). muscle relaxers may help also ive heard.

The day before i do shrooms i like to read all i can about a certain philisophical subject (use stumbleupon) and the next day i will either drive around until i find a beautiful spot in nature and sit and kindof meditate lol or turn off all the light in my apartment, burn some incense and play a ton of instrumental songs (and manchester orchestra). the philisophical studies just sets the stage in your mind for a beautiful spiritual journey.

The experience is different for everyone - remember that!

When I took mushrooms, I had extreme social anxiety issues, panic attacks, and depression. I went away with my husband for a weekend and decided to try them for the first time. I was a little worried that it would make my anxiety worse, but it DIDN'T. In fact, it cut my anxiety down to 1/3 it was before, and I actually have confidence in myself now, and I am no longer depressed.

Embrace the effects, don't fight them.. or you WILL panic. I question what you were doing to have such a bad experience, or what you were thinking of as you were on them. Your environment and company really make the difference. I was with someone I love, with whom I feel no discomfort or resentment... and it only brought us closer together! Also, I have never felt so incredibly relaxed in all my life as I did the following day or so.

I am definitely not trying to say that mushrooms definitely WON'T cause increased anxiety, I am simply trying to show that mushrooms are far from black and white, as you have made them seem. Many factors are different from person to person, and that in turn will affect their personal experience.

It can help some people, and hinder others. You apparently are the latter. How you have done "so many drugs" and still have such a closed mind towards mushrooms absolutely baffles me! If I had only read your comment prior to my experience, and did no other research whatsoever, I would have probably had an anxiety attack as well. It's people like you who scare first-timers into having bad trips!

Just being honest. Oh yeah, and have a better argument than saying a plant is homosexual.

QUOTED TEXT:
"DO NOT~! I REPEAT DO NOT!!! take shrooms is you haveanxiety or panic disorders, I rarely from month to month get panic attacks, i had not had one for about 9 months, i decided to try shrooms with my husband for the first time, though he has done it a huge number of times, i freaked out, had one of the worst anxiety attacks ive ever had my entire life that its peak time lasted for 4 hhours, if i owned a gun i would have shot myself, i almsot ended up in the e.r. but could not function to get help and go figure my husband passed out asleep for some strange reason. It will GREATLY induce your attacks, and ever since i took them 2 months ago, my attacks are more frequent, and i swear the shrooms brought them back full force. Please ive done so many drugs and i dont want anyone to feel that way, shrooms are gay, and not worth it."

Hallucinogens are hit or miss for a person with anxiety. Me and another friend both have GAD and have both had awesome relaxed trips and panic attack terrible trips. It all depends on your set of mind and circumstances. No matter how controlled you think your environment is the smallest thing can turn your mind for the worse while so severely under the influence. To me hallucinogens have always been the strongest form of intoxication since whenever you want out--there is none. And having no way out is the last thing a person with anxiety needs.

LOW DOES GUYS! LOW DOSES! I have PTS and anxiety disorder and Believe it or not shrooms can be taken semi-regularly at low doses with no negative side-effects! I take them once a month about a gram. Not enough to scare you if you do end up having a bad trip (I never have). But still conscious enough to observe your mind rationally. Recommend this dosage to anybody! Helps me alot!

Take them in LOW DOSES!!!!!!!! (a gram or less) Works miraculous on overall welling and helps with my PTS and anxiety disorder.Even if you go in with a bad mind-state this amount is not enough to constitute a "bad trip". Best of all you are fine the next day, no hangover!

I really enjoyed your post. Now I feel trying shrooms is the right thing to do at this point in my life. Thank you!

Anxiety is typically rooted somewhere. During any sort of effective psycho-therapy, patient and psychologist will carefully pick apart every layer, and get to the core, which then usually starts being very productive from there. Its sometimes very hard for people to find the truths about themselves. Magic mushrooms basically speed that process up, so to speak, and spiritually FORCE you to face that and work it out. Most of the time when someone freaks out, this is why. It puts you in an instant state of awareness on all levels, with yourself, with others, with the world. So, I can only speculate that freak outs on mushrooms can only mean one of just a few things: Not ready to face your fears, because not willing to or strong enough to put up with the pain it takes to get there (and its not easy), or you had some bad mold growing on your mushrooms/wild mushrooms/poorly grown. Mushrooms aren't something to mess around with though, so I will at least vouch for the fact that this species is typically grown in sterile labs or fish tanks. Its always important to ask about the source of any drug you're getting, and learn to tell if they're lying.

Personally, I suffer from some pretty debilitating social anxiety and agoraphobia, as well as ADHD-PI and plenty of depression from each of those. Mushrooms have always made me feel confident and happy for a week afterward. I am 27 and have taken them since I was 18. 15 is when I first started being treated for my problems. I also had no knowledge on drugs, either at the time. I have a hard time hallucinating though, because my anxiety won't let my vision shut off and hallucinate. Hallucinations araen't my motive when taking mushrooms, anyway. BUT, I have been taking maybe a gram or less at a time (I have a high tolerance) and it is just enough to take the edge off. It takes away all that uncertainty and fear and lack of confidence that anxiety and depression causes, and helps me just exist positively. I didn't take hallucinogens for 4 years after my brother died, as a more drastic example of not being ready to face your problems, obviously that's something hard to face. I couldn't take them, but I was having a really hard time dealing with his loss. I did take them just once, 7 months after, and while I still had a great time nonetheless, the onset was horrible, and I was bawling in a tent for an hour before I could be ok.

Life's hard, man. Anxiety is also REALLY hard to work with. And mushrooms, well, they're kinda next level as far as human awareness. Just goes to show you how much fear and anxiety we humans have. I am sorry to hear of your experience with mushrooms, but maybe you could give them a chance in a much smaller amount. One day. Or not, cause most people learn to live with anxiety in different ways, and just accept it too. It becomes a part of their demeanor, and most people don't even notice, except those closest to you, who will then get your back for ya. That's usually how it ends up getting treated, anyway.

Marijuana does not harm you, its more medical. There have been no reported deaths from smoking too much marijuana, just idiots and teenagers who act irresponsible, and cannot handle the drug. I do believe your boyfriend will be fine, sweetie. He may quit one day if he decides. Try telling him your feelings about it, maybe do a little research about the medical benefits of marijuana, it might help ease your mind. :) The only thing to 'worry' about is his lungs from smoking, but as far as I know, cigarettes are far worse. Here's some food for thought:

I don't know what your exact concern is, as far as your boyfriend 'dying', but I hope I helped ease your concern. If weed is the only drug he will be using, then he's ok. :) I'd get on him if he tried ANYTHING else, especially heroin, ecstasy, cocaine or meth. Good luck, sweetie.

you sure this wasn't because of the mixture of pills effecting you?

I would have to say if you are on mind altering pills for depression or anxiety, don't use or use with cation.

Otherwise, most people have reduced anxiety, John Hopkins University a study of people between 40 and 50, 1/3rd were found to consider it the most spiritual experience, 2/3 explained it as with the top 5 most incredible experience. Perhaps, you foolishly took a lot as a party favor, instead of a small amount to see where it takes you. Thank your husband for giving you to much and get off the pills first.
