Hi, I am a 16 yr old guy and i have shaved down below only a couple of times and have some questions. first off, I was wondering exaclty how does one shave down there? I have done google searches and one page tells me to go against the grain and another tells me to go with the grain. well, even when i used a new blade and all that going against the grain slightly Pulled out hairs and caused some bleeding. is this wrong?
Second, I can never get it completely smooth they way i want. it always seems to have little hairs that you can't really see but when running my hand across i can feel them their and don't want them... this is more related to my first quetion about technique and How?
finally, after my last shave today it is just slightly red? is this just razor burn? how can a prevent this? (probly ties into #1 also huh?)
thanks in advance

I would NOT attempt to shave yourself baby-skin smooth or you'll end up with a lot of ingrown hairs and red bumps. Shave in the shower with the water running and some shaving gel. Use a new/shar razor and shave small areas at a time. Always pull the section of skin you are shaving tight as you shave it to avoid cuts.
I actually use trimmers to get the bulk of the hair and then finish in the shower with a razor.

is it ok to use scissors
You can also shave sideways, going from inside out to get it smoother. Twice a week is what I do
