If u are having stomach issues and use a lot of cannabis I suggest you look up cannabis hyperemesis syndrome as I and many of my friends suffer from it. Only way to make it stop was quit cannabis.... Sucks but it's better than being sick all the time!

Today 8/13/17 . I am a Weed head . I love it. For about a year I have had stomach problems. Last night I smoked maybe a 7gr. This morning I started vomiting and couldn't stop. I to the ER and they take a scan and a sonogram they also took a lot blood. The doctor did I smoke weed . I said everyday . Doctor said ..thats whats causing your stomach pains and vomiting . I said No way. Doctors always trying to find negative things to say about Weed. So I came home fired one up to see what would happen. I don't want to admit it but there might be some truth to the claim. Tomorrow I go see a G.I doctor. They put a scope in my stomach to see the damage . I am a heavy smoker so maybe it's the amount I smoke a day . We shall see.

Long time smoker as well +5 years of heavy smoking. The last couple of years ive had problems with stomach pains as well. I noticed my muscles are often very tense when im stoned (Meaning im very tense all the time), especially the abdominals. I think this could be connect to the pains in some way, i figure tightening the abdominal muscles for prolonged periods could cause all kinda problems with digestions etc.

Hello,
I know you wrote this a year ago. I just wanted to tell you that I think it was eloquently written. Your arguments provided me, on year later, with some logic regarding this topic. I have experienced an increase in the number of medical professionals who ask me if I smoke marijuana. I have unresolved stomach issues. They justify their question with the rationalization that there is a correlation between marijuana and stomach issues. The question that still resides in my mind is "why did medical professionals just start informing patients of this effect. I had never been asked that question until this year
Thank you for your insight...

I was having lots of issues with bloating, dizziness, acid reflux, etc... never throwing up or anything like that. I smoked for 20 plus years from morning to night for the most part. I quit smoking 3 weeks ago, no issues.

Yes absolutely, i have it, had it. After a year of dr visits, colonoscopies, blood work and feeling awful, a dr ar Cleve clinic said i have canibus poisoning basically. I stopped for 2 weeks and it went away. Mostly fine now but if i smoke too much, which i smoke sev times a day, my body lets me know w the poops, awful cramps and feeling so nauseated. Just clear yourself a few days you will see a difference
