Two months ago I found a mass on my right hip bone. I finally asked my doctor about it and he said that it was a blood clot from a fall that I had back in the summer. How long do blood clots last? This mass can be moved around somewhat, but it seems to be attached to my hip bone. This mass in not soft. It is very firm. I am not at all happy with the diagnosis he gave me. He did not do an x-ray or any kind of tests. Does anyone else have anything like this? Thanks!!
I have osteoporsis ,now i have a mass no my hipbone
Hallo,
Blood clots are very problematic because most people think that they might be a form of tumor or a cancer and they get scared. It is a good thing that you talked to your doctor about this. Blood clots can last for several months if they are left there untreated. You have to understand that you need to massage the place where the blood clot is located and that you need to put some ice on it in order to get rid of the blood cloth. You can also try to use some topical creams that will speed up the process. I hope this helped you in any way.
All the best to you,
Karen

Where is the exact location of the hip bone?
I have a tumor on my left hip bone. The doctor said over four years ago that it's not cancer, but it hurts every day. Should I have it removed?
