Guys I do and have gotten my bench press up by 55 pounds in 2 months so I don't think it affects it much it's mostly how you perceive it in your head.

listen dude when u masturbate u loose ur consentration for body building ...i suggest that u masturbate on sunday and keep controll on yourself the other days this will help u 2 gain testostrone and keep u happy as well ...make ur choice first u want 2 stick to bodybuilding or no ..and i u want u can do it twice a week

ahhh....  it's my problem too . i can't stop masterbating and i am a bodybuilder too .

but recently i figured out that if doing this will make me weak then i should respond it by eating good foods and fruits to recharge my body .

but it will be pretty good if you try to do this only once a week .

Some of those who responded seem to genuinely be asking for help in order not to masturbate... What's wrong with you, people!? Can't you just cut off doing it if you believe that this hampers your muscle growth (which is completely hilarious too)?

masturbation does not hinder your muscle growth neither it has a change in your testosterone levels,when you are masturbating there are levels of dopamine chemical increase in brain and around for more sexual pleasure thats it,so dont come under talks of such trainers who dont have any idea about body bulding.infact you burn around 250 calorie when you masterbate for 10 mins and when you have sex you burn around 350 to 450 calories its that healthy.

I think it's a risk for health... don't just think of the masturbation alone, also think about what the result is: ejaculation.. one sperm takes atleast 70 days to be fully functional (one ejaculation may contain more than 39 million sperm), so the body needs a healthy diet and lots of energy to cope with so many functions already going on in the body... ejaculating would mean all that work the body has done goes to waste if not for reproduction purposes..
