Methadone: how is it passed throgh the body?

I have been on methadone for about 3 years, I was originally put on 130 mls of the sugar free mixture, I have had alot of medical problems throughour the past two and a half years which is why my drug centre and key worker were hisitant to decrease me, So after me constantly harrasing my key worker they decided they would decrease me by 5 mls per week, I was doing fine on this then just after Xmas I was on 90 mls and I asked if they could keep me on that amount as I seemed to be waking up feeling withrawls so I thought I was just coming down too fast. However its actually getting worse! I am still on 90 mls but I,m now waking up at 6am the following morning and I,m in the early stages of withdrawls, Its been like this since January and I,m actually getting worse, Usually I wouldn't need to take my next dose of methadone til around mid afternoon but I,m now feeling so terrible waking up with all the symptoms of withdrawls, Diahorrea, panicky feelings, Legs and limbs irritable and very anxious, sneezing constantly, sweating and the chills, I do know you can bring your withdrawls on physcologically but this is actually waking me up at 6 and even if I go to bed at 10pm or 1am the night before I,m still waking uo at this time, I have pancreatic insufficiency where I have sever diahorrea and have been told that methadone is actually passed through the bowels rather than the bladder is this true? If this is true couyld this be the reason why I feel so terrible in the mornings? I desperately want to come off the methadone, I was silly enough to get involved with people through my ex boyfriend who were drug takers hence the reason I started taking heroin, but that part of my life is well and truly over and I havent touched any drugs since I was put on the methadone program
I was only diagnosed as having pancreatic insufficiency recently and I have been told that all of my other medication has to be gastro resistant as they wouldnt work if the were getting digested in my stomach as foods and anything I eat just pass therogh me without being broken down hence the reason I have gastro resistant medication apart from my methadone.
So could you just tell me if methadone ispassed through the bowels and if this is the reason the methadone isn,t lasting in my system please? his is ruining my lfe at the moment I dred every morning when i go to bed the evening before.
