I have a couple questions about my IUD. I am on my second IUD. I had my first put in 6 wks after I had my second child, then had it removed about 3 years later when my husband and I wanted to have another child. I was able to feel my strings, never had any issues with it at all other than cramping and headaches a few weeks after having it put in.
I just had another one put in almost a month ago. I have never been able to feel the strings so obviously I'm concerned about it being in there. However, I bled for around 2 weeks, had the lower back cramps, etc. My pains were by no means severe, although uncomfortable. I had far worse cramps with my first iud. Does it sound like everything is ok? My doc is a pain to get in contact with so I hate to try to do that if everything is normal and I shouldn't even be stressing!
