A pregnancy test would be a good idea to settle your mind. However, if you are concerned about the safety of a possible pregnancy, you both need to be careful with sex.
If you have just had a three day period, you are unlikely to be pregnant.

You are considered 10 weeks pregnant and the estimated due date would be 2nd Oct 2013 (have you not been told?), and you possibly could soon be able to feel the fast heartbeat (180 bpm), but it seems to vary from person to person. Your (12 week?) ante-natal checkup should give the opportunity to hear it. It is now a foetus, not an embryo.
