Monistat 1 - how long does it take to work? what is normal?

I used the M1 in Wednesday night and it was so strong that Thursday morning I felt dizzy and completely passed out. The good thing however is that after the burning and pain feeling, it gets better. Today is day Sunday morning and I just have a little itchy discomfort here and there but nothing compared to how it was before the meds. I definitely will take the M7 next time. I hope the itching completely dissapear soon. Also I feel very dry out there.... this is my first yeast infection! It sucked!

Hey I’m using the 3 day monistat what I did was took a shower first then inserted the cream in side over night and I drink a lot of water and as I used the bath room I can see that it was cleaning me out in my urine so I guess I can say it’s working

Wrong it says not to have sex for at least 3 days if symptoms are not clear then wait at least 7 days if it's not cleaned then go back to then go to the Dr

I used Monistat 1 for the first time yesterday. Two days ago, I started feeling a little itchy and sore in a sense in my vaginal area, I waited a day and then searched up the symptoms for a YI. I had the slight discharge, pain, itch and yellow pee so I decided to get Monistat. Thing is, I got the completed Monistat which has the cream inside of the filler that you insert. Not sure if anyone here has used that one. I took it around 9PM and it started to feel better. I kind of felt like I could actually feel it working. Fast toward to the next day, it's currently 10:17 AM and I haven't peed in the last 12 hours and I really have to go but I don't know if it's okay for me to do so. Could anyone give me any insite? How long do I have to wait to use the bathroom? Do I have to wait, at all? Will using the bathroom make the Monistat 1 less effective? Help, please!

Yes! What the pill does is when is dissolves and comes back out, it’s bringing the infection with it!

It took about a week and a half for the ovulam to drain out completely. I felt most comfortable and clean after my next period though!! Cant wait to get there.... this is an annoying vacation yeast infection i have. DARN ANY BODY OF WATER -_- my body gets them a lot :/. The burning feeling of the monistat1 is extremely peaceful after an intense yeast infection itch inside and out for a couple days!! Buy yourself a chocolate, turn on healing music, eat chocolate, apply monistat, meditate and focus on kegals ladies!!

So what pill did he recommend

I had unprotected sex on the 12th of this month, and got a yeast infection a couple of days later. I took the Monistat 1 on the 19th of this month and had no bad reactions or symptoms. Everything was all fine and dandy. On the night of the 23rd, I felt some light cramping in my uterus (or at least in that area) that has been off and on through late last night/early this morning. I took a pregnancy test yesterday, it came back negative, though I think it would be too early to say if I'm pregnant. My question is.. are these light cramps from the Monistat? Has anyone else had this happen?

duh. I hate this so much because we can get these infections SO easily!! :( I've had my infection for about a year or 2, but I had no clue what is was cause I was just 12 or 13. Now I am older and its so much more then perfume and hair gel now :(

I think you have a UTI and not a yeast infection.
