I am 319 lbs. came down from 331lbs. I had brain surgery at age 10 in 1986, was given radiation treatment, and put on steroids until I was 12 years old. 2 years of steroids. I was a true butterball, round as all get out. My parents and school P.E. teachers had me on an exercise regimen, considering I couldn't walk on my own, but it was something. In high school, my depression was at it's lowest and my P.E. teachers encouraged me to see what I could do in the weight room. I was lifting 380 lbs. on the bench press within the week and 480 lbs on the leg press in 2 weeks! Now, I am 32, was in the hospital last year with pneumonia and I think they gave me steroids again. My stomach is sitting on my lap! my ankles are as wide as my knees! My doctors won't help. Whatever it is on my body, even the doctor appointed nutrionist said something is wrong, I would like to have an idea what it is.
Perhaps it is a glandular problem?
