MY MOTHER WAS DIAGNOSED WITH MULTIPLE MYLENOMA IN FEBRUARY 2006. SHE HAD SURGERY ON HER ARM TO REMOVE THE DESEASED BONE. Rods were placed in her arm. After a stay in intensive care, she did well. After completing her radiation therapy, she did well for a while then she began suffering from extreme weakness in August 2006. The prognosis of her doctor was six years. My mother died November 2006. At the end of her life she needed blodd approximately on a weekly basis. She had no appetite, and didn't eat any solid food since August. Her kidneys failed, she had mini stroke, and became a diabetic after the disease was discovered. Has anyone else had the foregoing happen to their loved one.
It was a total shock to see my 77 year old mother go down so quickly.
