It's not stuttering. My son sometimes just repeats words or sentences, like a skipping CD (it's bad to say this, but I don't have better comparison). Should I be worried?
Even though this behavior might seem very strange and worrisome, thing is that most such behaviors are, in most of children, temporary developmental phases. The importaint facts here are: how often does this happen? How long does the repeating last? How do you respond to this behavior? For most children these types of behaviors are means of grabbing the attention of an adult and as a child grows, it finds another ways of coping with things. So, the most important thing is - even though behavior is strange, it is most likely just a developmental stage except if it becomes dominant and most used type of child's behavior.
