Good day guys. I have an appointment for bypass surgery. I have this surgery in four days. It is OK, I am not scared at all because I have so good and positive doctor and I know that I am safe with him. I went to see him because I wanted to talk about this surgery. He told me that my artery is too small for stenting and that he will see what he can do about it. I don’t understand that and I don’t know what he can do about it, but like I already told you – I trust him. I just want to know what I can do about this issue?

Hello. I understand your concern. Sometimes it is possible to do stenting even if the artery is too small and sometimes it is not. That all depends on the experience and of the material that each doctor and hospital has. Also, the experience of your doctor is very important.

I want to ask you a couple of things. What alternatives your doctor gave you if this stenting can’t be done?

I also need to know did you have heart surgery before?

I am pretty sure that your doctor is going to find the best solution and definitely you should not be afraid because the solution must be found.

Hey there.

Look, my neighbor Rorry had this problem and doctors did stenting without bigger problems. Doctors did some analyses and after those tests they determine that everything is pretty much OK and that they can do stenting.

Doctors told him that this was a little bit hard because artery is small but they told him that the best thing is that this is not impossible.

I think that you should not be stressed about this so much because there is always a solution for this. If they can do stenting in an ordinary way, I am sure that they will find other way.

Good luck!

Hey there everyone. I went to see two doctors in the past couple of days just because my friend told me to seek another opinion. When I went to see first doctor he told me that there is nothing that they can do and that they will call me as soon as they find the solution. Well, until they find the solution it can be very late for me. So I went to consult another doctor and he told me that he can do something about it but that I might need to go to the surgery.
Why? Do you have any idea why I should go to the surgery before stenting? Did I get something wrong?
