He said it was cool but he doesn't know. Waht does that mean?
That he is uncertain of what he will do since you are keeping the baby. If he comes to terms with it and wants to be there he will. "IF" he wants to be a 'free' man and run from this and be supportive from a distance and act is if nothing happened, then so be it. You should not need a man to make you or that baby happy. It is completely up to you how you handle this. Do not stress over it, if he comes to terms... he comes to terms. if he doesn't.... Keep him as a friend, if thats too complex.... Drop him like a box of rocks. Stress and worry and over working yourself can cause damage to you and your baby. It is not something to stress over too much. but, you can still let the people you want to know that you are pregnant. And hope they will support you. You can always find some one who wants to be the father of that child and always be called dady if he does not step into the role of a "parent"
