Damn having Hemorrhod for 30 years? That's crazy. I got mine for two week and i am ready to cut off my butt to rid the pain. I opt the surgery road, no way i am trying any voodoo on my butt. Lucky my doctor (Dr. Lee Yiu Kee, of Granville Medical Specialist Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong) got it cover for it. It was fast, but wasn't painless at all. However compare to what i am suffering everyday, i don't mind the little procedure he did on me

This place is a fraud. They told us hemorroids would not come back but if by some chance it came back in less than 5 yrs then they would treat at no cost. Well guess what in a few months the symptoms returned after spending over $2000 when we went back to NATCM they told us they are no longer in the hemorrhoid business. Well my next stop will be with the media and with the better business bureau. These places should not be allowed to rob people of their money.

we never promised you 5 yrs serveice, and we have your all file , and its true we are no longer open. plz understand we did your treatment , and is working. but we have no responsibility for you at all.

I phoned NATCM Vancouver branch, they will take responsibility for all Toronto patients, and their Dubai branch will take responsibility too.

there are totally 2 diferent company, they use same medicine but different owner. so if you looking for this treatment you can still go Vancouver or Dubai, but that's your choice, who treat you, who will take the responsibility.

Yeah I'm just going to get surgery done. Should've done it years ago instead of wasting my time at the NATCM clinic.

I guess the NATCM clinic is fine for minor cases of hemorrhoids, but for more severe cases like internal prolapsed hemorrhoids, your only solution is surgery.

I actually went to NATCM Toronto a few years ago. I had many many huge prolapsing internal hemorrhoids that I would have to push back in after each bowel movement, and also a fissure. I live in Connecticut so it was a big chance to go there. The first day they did an inspection and applied some cream. The second day they did their "special treatment." It was a rough 8 hours that followed - discomfort and pain and fever. The next day after my bowel movement, the hemorrhoids were gone! I continued strengthening treatment for a week, and within a few days I couldn't feel the fissure anymore - at the end of the week, I left with more cream to apply at home.

After about a year, the hemorrhoids started to come back a bit. Now about 3.5 years after, they are back maybe 50% of where they were. The fissure has never come back. Now, Dr. Chen told me that he recommended more treatment there, which may have prevented or prolonged the resurgence even longer, but I couldn't stay, so I can't blame him for this. And honesty, getting a treatment that only caused discomfort for a few hours every few years is something I can handle compare to all the intense stories I've heard about the more standard treatments that I can get here in CT.

I was planning to go back this summer, but of course they just closed - nice timing! I spoke to Dr. Chen and he said he could send me more cream but would not be able to do any special treatments because they were closed and he didn't have the materials needed anymore. When I asked him for alternatives, he said he could help me go to Shanghai for a significant discount, where they do the treatment better than anywhere. He did not seem to recommend the Vancouver location. I had called Vancouver because I saw in this forum that they took responsibility for the Toronto patients, but the woman I spoke to said that I'd have to pay as a new patient and couldn't give me a number until they examined me, but somewhere between $600 and thousands... He also recommended I try a freezing treatment before Shanghai, in case it was sufficient, but I can't find much information about doctors who freeze internal hemorrhoids...

Kind of sucks now. Not sure what to do. Pay over $1000 plus hotel to fly to Shanghai and then more for the treatment? Spend $500 plus hotel to fly to Vancouver but have no idea what they will charge me? I don't know of any other treatment that is nearly as good as this... It's amazing that we have such lame options in the USA...
