I'm freaking out right now. Could my girlfriend be pregnant? Here are the facts. Thanks in advance
-Three weeks ago or so, my girlfriend started her period, and we had sex. I finished inside of her but I was wearing a condom. We checked for any holes in the condom after and didn't see any.
-During her period that week, she went to the doctor for some strange cold / stomach issues, which I believe began before we had sex. That was about 2 weeks ago and she got a pregnancy test and came out negative. All this happened about 4 days after we had sex.
-She has texted me that she's so tired. I'm not sure if she was just making conversation / had a long day.
-She has been lightly spotting all week now. This spotting started a week after she finished her period and has been light spotting all week she says.
-I'm pretty sure this is irrelevant but she has gained a little weight over the last couple weeks in her abdomen area. That freaks me out, but I have also heard that you don't really gain weight until the end of the first trimester.
We are going to take a pregnancy test tonight but I am freaking and I'm sure she might be too. I woke up at 2 AM thinking about it and have finally decided to make a topic for our specific situation.

If you had sex on the first day of her period, it is very unlikely she would get pregnant unless she has a very short cycle.
Pregnancy test 4 days after sex is not going to show positive. It takes longer than that to get pregnant and show up in tests.
Three weeks after sex, a test should be accurate. And it is almost certain to be negative.
