I honestly feel your pain, right now mine is like that. its truly hell
all you can do is stop itching it, put a hair elastic around it, just to bundle it all up and get it off your pubic hair.
And than pray it goes away or becomes less painful.

you more than likely have a yeast infection, if you are uncomfortable with going to the doctor, go to a nearby pharmacy and get a monistat, it will also come with itching cream to clear up the horrible itching, take ibuprohen for the swelling & the monistat will clear it up within 3 days. if not, seeking a doctors help is best.

This happens to me all the time basically every time I use a pad or liner the best thing to do if it's itchy is to if possible put some moisturiser or something like that on it and other wise just wait and the swelling should be down in a couple of hours if that is you're not wearing a pad or liner if you're still on your period though just try and use tampons from then on

everyone's having the same problem, but I'm not on my period and not sexually active. It's extremely itchy and swollen and because I've itched it so much it's turned sore which makes it painful to itch so that leads to frustration. I've had this before and I do have extremely sensitive skin, apparently I've got this because of the underwear I was wearing, I've got the same material but different colours haha, and it's cheap underware. What my problem is, it won't go down. Two days now and it's getting more itchy. Help!!?

Try to cool it down with ice or a cold cloth, it helps a little for me :) Otherwise call a doctor, I think they'll be more able to help you

if there is a nasty odor and thick grey/white discharge, its a yeast infection.

Hi,  I have this problem too and I believe it's hormonal cause I seem to get it around the same time of the month before my period starts.  I am here to share something that worked for me and I hope it will help you.  Make a mixture of white vinegar, hydrogen perioxide and sea salt and use a cotton ball to clean it.  It will burn like hell but the itching will stop after the burning stops and it's immediate!  I had many sleepless nights because once I start scratching it doesn't stop and it gets worse.  This is now my go to remedy.  I hope it helps you

What you're experiencing is vulvovaginitis. More information on symptoms and how to treat it can be found here: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000897.htm

One of my labia minora is a bit swollen and very itchy. I did just start my period three days ago and am washing daily. But the itching persists. I did a little bit of research and found these two sites with some suggestions as to what may be the cause and how to deal with it. Hopefully it helps.

The same thing is happening to me. But I do not have a pad and I'm not on my period. It itches like crazy and I asked my mom and she was shocked because I've never had sex and I've never masturbated so this came as a shock to us. I'm going to the doctor today though. Try putting a cold towel on the area.
