If your other is on dialysis through a certain hospital and it does transplants you can ask a transplant coordinator there without your other knowing so you don't get hopes up but just get the answers to this question. If that hospital doesn't do transplants you can find out what hospital your other would most likely get a transplant at (ask out of curiosity if you don't want your other to know your plans pre-maturely) and then call their transplant coordinator by asking at the information desk when you call their number. It would come down to how well your kidneys work (or if they are damaged by that medication) and how well of a match you are.
